I came accross this girls name I had never heard of recently and wonder if people like it. I suppose Renee for short would work well.

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
ChardonnaysDistantCousin · 09/01/2020 20:10

Blimey!

That's delightful.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 09/01/2020 19:59

Renesmee literally kills her mother by eating her womb from the inside during her birth IIRC not a great legacy.

She is then "imprinted upon" by a werewolf who agrees to wait to have sex with her til she's 18.

Conveniently she ages years overnight Hmm

MostlyChocolate · 09/01/2020 19:54

#spoileralert

Oh yeah that's how it went... She only "survived" by her vampire husband "saving" her... As it were 😉

Dozer · 09/01/2020 19:49

The birth DID kill her didn’t it? And the mum became a vampire.

Those books are some dodgy shit.

MostlyChocolate · 09/01/2020 19:10

Oh and @GRW the baby almost killed the mortal mum by drinking her blood from the inside (eugh...)

MostlyChocolate · 09/01/2020 19:08

Names not nake

MostlyChocolate · 09/01/2020 19:08

@GRW the story behind the nake: vampires mum and mortal girls mum... Both their names mixed together... So very personal to the characters... Which is why you would be shunned for using the name as it were Flowers

Dozer · 09/01/2020 19:05

Nooooo

mumsiedarlingrevolta · 09/01/2020 19:04

I hope this is a joke.

Maybe someone who has fallen off the Dry January Wagon?

Was it Balonz?

It was! Good memory @BarkandCheese

MikeUniformMike · 09/01/2020 15:15

It's pretty bad but Ezmee is awful and Renee-Esmee bad.

Why not go for a yoounique spelling too and have WrenEz-Mae

You could combine the names of your DD'd grandmas and call her something like Karenlisa

FruitcakeOfHate · 09/01/2020 12:55

Fuck no.

Omashu · 09/01/2020 12:45

I love unusual names but this is so so awful.

toodivineforthehumanmind · 09/01/2020 12:42

I would prefer it spelt Renesme, it's unique fed up of hearing Emily's, Ava's etc

TheJoxter · 09/01/2020 12:33

Renée Esme
Or even Renée-Esme if you like combined names
But please not Renesmee

user1471582494 · 09/01/2020 12:31

No! No! No! Just no. Don't do that to your poor child.

BarkandCheese · 09/01/2020 12:29

Was it Balonz? That wasn’t so much a troll as a well known wind up merchant. The op claimed to have a friend named Balonz, someone asked if it was from a specific place, the reply was something like “I don’t know where he’s from, but he speaks very fondness of Frensham Ponds”.

Renesmee, just don’t. Even without the Twilight connection it’s an awful how do you spell and pronounce that name. With the Twilight connection it’s pure cringe.

Peanutbutteryogurt · 09/01/2020 12:28

It's really bad. Just Esme is lovely though.

AlexanderHalexander · 09/01/2020 12:26

@littlelongdog - Harper-blu? Grin

PanamaPattie · 09/01/2020 12:23

Ezmee is such a far more classier name. 🤔

LittleLongDog · 09/01/2020 12:20

I actually had to do an advanced search on you OP (because it’s such an purposefully terrible name that I thought you were trolling).

Does anyone remember what that hilariously awful name in the the classics thread (by a troll) was?

Beamur · 09/01/2020 12:19

Sorry, but just no. Awful.

LittleLongDog · 09/01/2020 12:17

Even everyone in Twilight hated the name; and they invented it.

It’s literally awful. Just... don’t.

user1493494961 · 09/01/2020 12:07

It's awful.
