Yes or no?

Mark Zuckerberg has a little girl Max

Grufallosfriends · 07/01/2020 20:08

Max is cute for a girl.

I know a Maximiliana who goes by Max.

AfterSomeAdvice1234 · 07/01/2020 20:06

Love Max for a girl! Big fan of stereotypically male names as nicknames for girls e.g. Freddie, Sam

betweenfor · 07/01/2020 19:56

No!
What’s next? Steve? Roy? Geoff?

tamarisk44 · 07/01/2020 19:56

Ah we loved Max as a nickname for a girl but couldn't find a longer version that we liked. Also love Rory as a nickname for a girl but couldn't quite bring ourselves to go for Aurora (as lovely as it is in theory!). Settling on Max for a boy (if it's a boy!).

FruitcakeOfHate · 07/01/2020 19:54

No. Boys names for girls, naff AF. Never goes the other way, either, never hear 'Rose for a boy?'

Oblomov20 · 07/01/2020 19:52

No.

It's Ds2's name.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 07/01/2020 19:52

Is okay as a nn for Maxine

Elouera · 07/01/2020 19:50

Not keen myself. I can imagine her being called 'Maxi' pad!!!

AnneOfCleavage · 07/01/2020 19:50

Have you been watching Stranger Things? Grin

Chocmallows · 07/01/2020 19:48

Sounds like a harsh name.

MikeUniformMike · 07/01/2020 19:47

Maxine or Maximiliana on BC.
Max is ok.

I think Maxine Peake too.

3of50BookChallenge2020done · 07/01/2020 19:45

kinsss

Being gentle here, but if you need to ask, that name it is not right for your girl.

Names are instinctive and RIGHT for you/DP/H and your baby.

Most just decide and name them. It just comes right for parents and child at the end of the day.

Congratulations.*

Never a truer word spoken. Both times with our DC, we knew when we had the name. All discussion stopped.

missmouse101 · 07/01/2020 19:44

No, awful.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 07/01/2020 19:42

Definitely no.

MrsEricBana · 07/01/2020 19:41

I think no too but if yes I like the suggestion of Max(ima)

TwigTheWonderKid · 07/01/2020 19:39

Definitely yes! Maxine Peak is an amazing woman and a great example of the full version, if you wanted to lengthen it. The ancient Roman Maximiliana is also a fabulous and strong female name. Max on its own is perfectly appropriate for girls or boys.

MyCatScaresDogs · 07/01/2020 19:30

Nope. For me, it’s a boy’s name. And definitely not Maxine.

yorkshireteaspoonie · 07/01/2020 19:08

Yep! Great name 👍🏽

daisypond · 07/01/2020 18:59

Savannaha · 07/01/2020 18:57

PumpkinCounty · 07/01/2020 18:56

I love it! I also really Maxima as a longer name.

CantankerousOldOne · 07/01/2020 18:53
