Hi all

Due a boy at the end of February and I love the name Hugo.

DH isn’t sure.

What are the thoughts on it and are there any other name suggestions?

I love it

What is making DH unsure? @canijustaskonemorething

I also don't think that certain names are reserved for the 'middle classes', I know boys all sorts of boys called Rupert, Quentin and Hugo for example

FluffyEggsontoast · 05/01/2020 15:01

Nah it’s not a middle class name anymore
Neither is Rupert

emmathedilemma · 05/01/2020 14:53

It's very middle class IMO. If you drive a range rover, wear Barbour jackets and have a chocolate labrador it'll suit you fine.

@FrazzledCareerWoman Hugoglenncoco was a personal favourite😂

Cbeebiesrehab · 04/01/2020 23:16

I like it. Although whenever I hear it I smile now as it reminds me of a thread on here where someone asked what it was short for. Cue the p*ss taking and pages upon pages of crap gags that made me laugh.

hazandduck · 04/01/2020 16:16

Love Hugo. I am due start of Feb and it is our favourite name for a boy 😊

Jossina · 04/01/2020 03:02

We have a Hugo and it’s a gorgeous name, think it’s becoming more popular though.
