Violet, Scarlett, Aurora

Help please!! Finally have a shortlist but still can’t decide! I love these three names what does everyone think? Thank you!

Violet & Scarlett are lovely but I’m not a fan of Aurora. I do like Aurelia though

I did like Aurora and considered it for my DD but everyone said it was Disney and would date so it put me off Sad

I think all 3 names are quite lovely.

For my favourite I'm tossing between Violet and Scarlett. I do find the t ending really appealing. They don't need nicknames at all but I think Lettie is nice for both these if you want it. Does any one of them sound much better with the surname?

Aurora is nice too but it sounds a bit ‘Disney’ to me if you know what I mean.

Tbh I think you'll just have to have 2 more daughters and use them all! They are not only beautiful names but make a lovely sibling set too. All the beautiful colours that come to mind 😍😍😍

Of that list, Violet is my favourite. If you do think you might choose Aurora, spend a lot of time saying it out loud. I think it looks lovely written down but sounds bloody awful in a lot of accents.

I love Scarlett. Violet is ok. Aurora is becoming less unusual. We have 3 in school now.

Violet will be Vi and as much as I like the vi editor, Violet looks too much like Violent.
Aurora is just too princessy, and is a bit cwap if you can't say

I really love Aurora but had to drop it from my shortlist in the end because I thought that, gorgeous as it is, it isn't the most sensible name to see you through your adult life. I'd go for Violet.
