Where I live there is a girl called Mayley, (Pronounced like Hayley but with an M) which I had never heard before but I have fallen in love with. What unusual names do you love?

My daughter's name just troubles the top 100, so not crazy unusual but not crazy common either. It's easy to pronounce and is used in many European countries. I love those names I listed, but I think they might be... unwieldy? in everyday life.

Lorcan is a pretty bog standard boy's name in Ireland. Not a bit fancy or unusual.
There was a famous 12 th century Archbishop of Dublin called Lorcan o' Toole.
