Hey, I think these are our final 3 names.
Baby will be half Irish, growing up down south in the UK and a brother to Rory.
I love Jesse, DH loves Dylan, we both liked Finley but concerned it's very popular.

Jesse is lovely. I had Finley on my list when I was expecting. But now my friend has called her dog it & it's put me off!

I like Jesse. It seems to be pretty popular atm, a few threads about it here. Someone will bring up 'you big Jessie' bit I do wonder of people really say that nowadays.

Dylan by far. Slightly biased as I have an adult one. Can you pronounce it correctly?
If not spell it Dillon.

Love hearing Welsh names outside of Wales but only if they are pronounced correctly.

I love all of them!

I think mine would be

Dylan
Jesse
Finley (love it but it's still quite ubiquitous)

Love all three names 🙈 potential favourite Finley but also love Dylan and Jesse

Every other baby is a finn or Finley lately. I don’t particularly like Jesse but I do know a very likeable young Jesse which has helped lately. Dylan is my favourite by far.

YouBoggleMyMind · 22/12/2019 11:08

Finley (I am biased though as DS is called Finley)
Dylan was our first choice name but didn't go with the middle name we had picked.

Finley

  1. Finley (though I like Finn more).
  2. Dylan
  3. Jesse

Finley (though I prefer the Finlay spelling) is my favourite - and lovely with Rory.

Any of your choices may turn out to be popular (or not) in his particular cohort, so I wouldn’t make the decision based on that.
