Opinions on name Indie-rose please?

I really love India Rose with Indie as a nickname. India works better for all ages IMO but Indi is more a little girl name

It’s awful, sorry, in every way. Scrap the hyphen. And Rose as a middle name. And Indie as a first name. India is even worse.

Sorry really don’t like hyphenated names

Why force everyone to have to say two names each time they speak about your child when most people just use one name. It smacks of arrogance to me when people insist on two names while the rest of us are fine with one but I’m sure that’s just me being silly but I suppose you’ve asked for our opinions so just being honest

While it sounds nice enough it's part of a big trend of hyphenating Rose or Mae with names so just feels over-done to me. Indie Rose without the hyphen is better, then you can still use both names when you like.

Just my style but I do prefer Indie as a nickname for something else such as Indigo or Ingrid.

Not hyphenated.
I never v poked the common shortening for dds name, but she chose to be called it about 8 years ago. She doesn’tb like the full version.
So it’s not necessarily a foregone conclusion that She will always be known as Indie.

Hyphenated names are a pain in the arse and I'm not a fan. I like the name indie though.

If you lose the double barrel it would be better.

I have a double barrelled first name but it's a proper name- not all are bad. It's just random names tagged together especially at the moment when every other kid has Rose, May/Mae etc

Ah sorry guys typo I did mean Indie-Rose. Thanks everyone so far, maybe without the hyphen would be easier. I’ve just liked hyphen names since loving the name Mary-Kate (Olsen) as a kid, but now thinking it could be annoying for her. I’m considering India I just think maybe it’s pointless if she’ll just get called Indie anyway
