Which boys name do you like best, can't decide like them all!

Hello,

Just that really. Here is the short list, i like them all and I'm a very indecisive person 🙈 so any feedback most helpful.

Dylan
Rowan
Nathan
Shay

I hate nathan. Really like Shay and Dylan, also like Rowan.

Rowan is the only one I like. Dylan is okay. I dislike Nathan and Shay. I do however like Nathaniel, Nate and Seamus.

I prefer Shay to Seamus, which it's the anglicised diminutive of.

I'm not keen on Shay. Rowan is OK but it reminds me of Rowan Atkinson. Coin toss between Dylan and Nathan - love them both.

Hmm...Shay proving to be a bit if a marmite name, i wonder if thats because its more unusual so less heard of.
Rowan and nathan seem to be the most liked.

Nathan is such a great underused name. I’d pick that. Or shay.

ps. Mum of a baby girl ‘RoWan’ here. I do still like the name but had I realised just how popular Roman is now becoming I must admit I wouldn’t have used it. Every time I see RoMan Kemp on I’m a celeb it made me stressed because I know there’s going to be even more Romans now and my little girls name keeps getting mixed up. I hate having to say RoWan with a W. I’ll pick a less trendy name next time 🤣

I really like Dylan though I prefer the spelling Dillon

I like Rowan, but it's gain popularity as are Roman, Rohan, Robin which all sound similar

Really dislike Shay.

I quite like Nathan but prefer Nathaniel

Shay is really cool. I adore Dylan and Nathan.
For me, the name Rowan is now unusable given the massive upsurge in popularity of the name Roman. It was last years fastest rising name and there’s 2 baby Romans in my NCT group of 8! A couple of years ago I didn’t know any!
When there’s so many lovely names to pick from I’d avoid one so similar and ripe for confusion with last years’ fastest rising name. Roman will be top 20 on current trajectory in next year or two.

Dylan - LOVE a gentle yet strong sounding name

Rowan - it’s ok - I prefer it as a girls name. Funnily enough it’s a top 100 name for girls in Scotland (and is leaping up the charts there), but doesn’t feature in the boys’ list. A lot of girls being given this name in the US too.
Don’t like the inevitable nickname Row, nor it’s similarity to the ubiquitous Roman. 3 Roman’s at my sons nursery!

Nathan - Love. A classic. Love the nickname Nate.

Shay - not heard this name before. I like it.
