Not keen on either of them.

Leopardprintboots · 09/12/2019 11:14

What are you thinking now @Slouise92 OP ? Have you made a decision x

TisTheSeasonForMincePies · 08/12/2019 23:41

Actually Eleanor, Arya can be pronounced as Ar-ya as has been...

Winterwine · 08/12/2019 14:32

And my point stands. The term chavvy is just awful and so derogatory.

daisypond · 08/12/2019 14:31

@Winterwine The OP specifically asked if the names are chavvy, which is why people have responded. She name changed, so it’s not obvious. 06/12/2019 20:05

Nagsnovalballs · 08/12/2019 14:15

My horse is called aria. She’s very beautiful though (if you look at my posting history you will find pictures of her!)

Winterwine · 08/12/2019 14:13

Wow all the comments about being chavvy.... Wow these posters must have amazing, classy taste Hmm

I think anyone using the term 'chavvy' automatically makes them tacky and lacking in class. It's such a horrible term

I like both names but Sienna probably wins it.

CakeRattleandRoll · 08/12/2019 12:06

I like both, probably prefer Aria.

Leopardprintboots · 08/12/2019 11:00

How about Sadie?

DerbyshireGirly · 08/12/2019 10:24

Sienna is common. Shame as it is actually a pretty name.

SisterEvangelina · 08/12/2019 06:00

Sienna is definitely chavvy.

hannahfaith · 08/12/2019 05:38

Ive always loved the name Aria spelt that way pronounced Arr-ee-uh so I'd go with aria

LolaSmiles · 08/12/2019 05:25

I think Sienna is lovely.

MerchantOfVenom · 08/12/2019 05:04

They sound a bit more hard work.

Grin

Three syllables sure is a hell of an effort.

nachthexe · 08/12/2019 04:41

Prefer Ari, or Sena. Know both. Don't know any Aria/ Arya or Sienna. They sound a bit more hard work.

CatSmize · 08/12/2019 04:31

They are my top two girls names! I love both.

EleanorShellstrop100 · 08/12/2019 04:19

Arya isn’t pronounced Are-ya! It’s a really common Hindu name. DH is an Indian Hindu and he pronounces it pretty much identical to how he says ‘Aria’. Anyway I like both names, but I’d say both might have the reputation of being ‘chavvy’ just because they’re so popular? But I think they’re really nice and you’ll probably get both names being used by a big range of families/people. Sienna maybe slightly more.

user1493494961 · 07/12/2019 17:04

Dislike both, I would say both are 'Chavvy'.

Leopardprintboots · 07/12/2019 16:39

I vote Aria

Muchtoomuchtodo · 06/12/2019 22:09

Neither is very appealing to me.

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 06/12/2019 22:07

Sienna

daisypond · 06/12/2019 21:34

Sienna is better

Cbeebiesrehab · 06/12/2019 21:03

Are you asking about existing children’s names?

Sienna.

peppinanna · 06/12/2019 20:50

What's the point in just saying neither? Unhelpful muchHmm
I like both but prefer Aria
