Middle name for Gertrude

I’m expecting a baby girl soon and quite like the name Gertrude. The only problem is that I can’t find a middle name that suits it. Please help!

Would be helpful to know your surname, or can you make one up which is similar? Ie Robinson becomes Robertson.

no. just no.
and i usually like old fashioned or traditional names.
this is the exception.
the only worse one is Gretchen.
which i honestly though was a description for a harridan.
Gertrude is just grim.
don't do that to your child.
so many lovey names to choose from.

It was my great grandmother's name. Her middle name was Evelyn.

I knew a Gertrude her mn is Peggy I like them together. She is about 16 now (no longer in touch w her mum)

Well... I’m back. My husband and I decided to name her Arleta Constance instead of Gertrude after my mil threw a fit over the name. I’m still hoping to name a future daughter gertrude!
My grandma was called Edna Gertrude so I insist on Gertrude Edna.
