I love both but obviously using one will rule out the other.

I prefer Nina.

Is Mina pronounced “meaner”? If it’s a short i sound the spelling Minna would be clearer.

Omashu · 29/11/2019 20:02

I also just think of the word meaner. It’s a nice name otherwise but I think this ruins it. It’s like the name/s Fia, Fiadh, Phia etc.. it sounds like fear. It looks like a nice name but that ruins it.

Nina.

Mina is harsh sounding.

Inthemoment38 · 29/11/2019 19:59

Mina is the name of one of the other vampires in Dracula

Thetimetravelerswife · 29/11/2019 19:56

Nina for me.

But prefer it as a nickname for Antonina/Antonia etc

viques · 29/11/2019 19:56

You might as well settle on Nina, which is a lovely name anyway, because if you go for Mina lots of people will mishear, misspell it as Nina.

You could split the difference and call her Ina.........
