Curious to see which people would choose Cecilia Violet or Cecily Violet? With an older sister called Aurora.

Sorry I really don’t like both names. Too harsh an S sound to them and they just sound like “silly” to me. When you say “Cecelia’S trousers” for example there’s even more of a harsh S to the name so I can’t get on board with it. It has a hiss sound like a snake

Also whenever I hear the name Cecelia I think of the Suggs song “making love in the afternoon with Cecelia up in my bedroom.... ceceeeelia” 😬

Love violet though

Go for Cecelia. The trouble for me is that I just think Cess pit.
I like Celia and Cissy.

@MerryGrinch Violet is on our list but it’s an honour name so we’re leaning towards using it as a middle name.

I don't like Cecily because I much prefer Cicely. I prefer Celia to Cecelia, and i don't like Cess.

Of the two, Cecelia by a long shot, but I prefer Cicely.
