What do you guys think of the name Honor? I've always liked it but don't know if it's actually a good/nice name or not?! Definitely over thinking it Wink

Your feedback would be great x

Beautiful name. Always spelled Honor, not Honour.

LarkDescending · 23/11/2019 20:50

Gorgeous.

pallisers · 23/11/2019 20:29

It is the last name I would think of as being a bit american. Have never met or heard of an american Honor.

I like it. Had a friend growing up with that name (she had a great surname too so the two together were lovely)

Inthemoment38 · 23/11/2019 20:27

It's great

CottonSock · 23/11/2019 20:26

I know a lovely Honor too.

GeoffreyAndBungle · 23/11/2019 20:23

Love it! Ds would have been Honor if he was a girl.

Jingers5 · 23/11/2019 20:14

Lovely name

NoFun21 · 23/11/2019 20:04

I absolutely love Honor, I really wish I’d thought of it for dd.
It’s just so lovely.

Adelais · 23/11/2019 19:44

I love it, it’s one of our front runners if this baby is a girl.

notmytea · 23/11/2019 19:38

It's the cheap sister company of hauwei

RaininSummer · 23/11/2019 19:16

As I say it to myself, the more it grows on me.

DramaAlpaca · 23/11/2019 19:16

I think of it as a beautiful, elegant name.

RandDandC · 23/11/2019 19:15

Love it, it’s on our short-list!

lilgreen · 23/11/2019 19:14

Oooh love it. I have only known one and she was smart, shy and beautiful Smile

daisypond · 23/11/2019 19:13

It’s not American.

Sexnotgender · 23/11/2019 19:12

Love it.

WiseUpJanetWeiss · 23/11/2019 19:12

It’s lovely, by the way.

WiseUpJanetWeiss · 23/11/2019 19:11

Surely Honor is pronounced Onor everywhere?

Ikeameatballs · 23/11/2019 19:11

Lovely

IHeartKingThistle · 23/11/2019 19:10

Love it. I'd love to be called Honor!

SemperIdem · 23/11/2019 19:09

I like it.

@Alarae the name Honor is Honor, the word is honour, is the UK. Smile

Maywedding · 23/11/2019 19:08

Thanks for the feedback. No issue with it being considered American... I find that that's seen as a bad thing on here!
I'm definitely not posh and wouldn't consider it posh but maybe because I don't know any Honors.

It’d be pronounced without the H down south, surely, too. I like it.

Thetimetravelerswife · 23/11/2019 18:53

I find it a bit posh. I personally wouldn’t use it, but it’s nice.
