Well it seems Elsie is a very marmite name! People either love it or hate it.
Also considering Violet.
Just wondering what your opinions are on Violet?
Would it sound nice with Noah?

I love Violet, I think it’s a gorgeous name with a lovely vintage feel to it. I think it matches well with Noa, though Elsie is still a bit of a better match.
But I would stick to which name you like best on an individual level, both sound fine with Noa.

Don't like Vye and chances are that would be used as a nn.

Prefer Elsie or Viola that someone mentioned although the latter could also be vye.

It’s a pretty name but for some reason, to me, it just feels too close to violent

I don't like the sound (Vile ett) or the nickname Vile Shock

I do like Viola or Violeta!

I think it's really lovely but it's very now. I know a lot of them, all young parents. I see it being the next Isla, Ruby, Sienna, in popularity. I'd consider Vivienne. Has the same kind of retro ring to it but less popular.

I love Elsie. I like Violet but my sons class has three in! That did surprise me as I didn't consider it a common name

Ps. I don’t think you’ll find a name that’s universally liked on here- people tend to be quite opinionated 😆 (which I suppose is what you want if you’re looking for opinions). I actually prefer Elsie
