Wilfred, Casper, Dexter, Rohan or Otto.

Surname begins with hard 'C' and has two syllables.

Brother of this little baby is called Charles, sometimes Charlie

Casper or Rohan

Otto I LOVE
Dexter and Casper I like.

Wilfred and Rohan I really don’t like at all.

I would choose Otto or Dexter to avoid confusing post later with the same initial and surname.

Casper or Wilfred

Wilfred.

I think of that whole list Casper might work best with a C surname and brother Charles/Charlie! That’d be so cool. ❤️

I love Otto, Wilfred and Dexter just as much as Casper though.

Are you looking for a more unusual name than Charles/Charlie this time around @winterplease

Leopardprintboots · 19/11/2019 10:17

Wow- a great list of names there @winterplease-

Wilfred- cool and love the nickname Wilf. A classic name that suits a little boy and grown man.

Casper - absolutely love it. It’s a fairly universally loved name on MN yet is very rare you come across anyone with this name in real life. A strong name

Dexter - love this- it’s cool. Also Huxley and Felix are similar with the X- love it!

Otto- really cool name and love the nickname Ottie/Otty

Rohan - I would assume someone that uses this spelling of the name is of Indian heritage. All the Rohan’s I know are Indian.

The problem I have with this name RoHan/RoWan is it sounds exactly the same as RoMan (with an M) and that’s the fastest rising boys’ name- currently top 50 but it leaps every year and is the new Noah- it’ll be top 10/20 soon. I work in paediatrics and there’s a lot of little RoMans being born this last year - it’s rocketed from nowhere. I know there’s a few famous Romans around too (RoMan Kemp currently in “I’m a celebrity”) so I can’t see the growth of this name slowing any time soon sit would annoy me that people will mix up RoMan/RoNan/RoHan and RoWan. They will probably just assume your child is RoMan as that’s the most popular.

I don’t like the inevitable nickname “Roh” for RoHan. It’s not pleasant and sounds unfinished.

Rohan

IckleBear · 19/11/2019 08:25

Love Casper but not sure if it's too much with Charles? Otherwise I'd say Wilfred.
Hector?
Rupert?

MrsNoMopp · 19/11/2019 08:21

Wilfred or Casper

Wilfred and Rohan

Frazzledforever · 19/11/2019 08:08

I love Rohan

Caramel78 · 19/11/2019 08:06

Dexter is cute

DivGirl · 19/11/2019 08:02

I think Wilfred of the ones you've listed. I prefer Ronan to Rohan (to be honest Rohan is the only of your list that I really dislike). In order.of preference I think I'd list them
Wilfred
Caspar
Dexter
Otto
Rohan.

Wilfred (Freddie). Although they're all great names! I think I slightly prefer Rowan to Rohan although it's popular at the moment.
