I know they're all very common so no one needs to point that out Grin

What's your favourite out of the girls and boys list? Obviously if you think they're all awful then just ignore this thread Wink

Girls:
Isla
Aria
Isabella
Mya

Boys:
Theo
Albie
Oliver
Teddy

Aria and Albie

Emthebaker · 21/11/2019 17:15

I love all of your names with the exception of Mya which just isn’t to my taste, personally :)

Leopardprintboots · 21/11/2019 16:35

Have you made a choice @Chlosavxox

Whattodoabout · 21/11/2019 10:05

I only like Isabella and Oliver.

MikeUniformMike · 20/11/2019 21:25

The only two I like are Isabella and Oliver. Not keen on Izzy, Bella or Olly but it's not my baby.

helpiamstressedbuthey · 20/11/2019 21:22

I LOVE Isabella it is one of my all time favourites but dh said no! For boys I love Theo, Oliver & Teddy

Sugarplummy84 · 18/11/2019 19:21

Isabella and Teddy Smile

JudgeMeNot · 18/11/2019 17:55

Isabella & Oliver

Spied · 18/11/2019 13:05

Isabella and Oliver by far the nicest.
Really stand out to me.

PreschoolYes · 18/11/2019 13:03

Isabella and Oliver

userabcname · 18/11/2019 13:02

I like Isabella best from your list and least favourite is Mya. For a boy I like Teddy and least favourite is Theo.

tomatosoup4 · 18/11/2019 13:00

Isla and albie

bridgetreilly · 18/11/2019 12:59

I’d pronounce Mya and Maya differently.

Me too. Mya is m'YAH and Maya is either MAY-ah or MY-ah. Mya looks really wrong to me. I would spell it Mia.

SingingSea · 18/11/2019 12:12

I’d pronounce Mya and Maya differently.

Cookit · 18/11/2019 11:50

I've defiantly seen it spelt 'Mya' a lot - Mya was number 173 out of the top 1000 in 2017!

Yes but Maya is number 37 and is the more accepted spelling.

KronksSpinachPuffs · 18/11/2019 11:21

Girls:
Isla - pretty
Aria - pretty
Isabella - not to my taste
Mya - not to my taste

Boys:
Theo - love!
Albie - not to my taste
Oliver - I like it, its popular for a reason!
Teddy - ok but maybe a bit too cutesie for my taste!

Chlosavxox · 18/11/2019 11:19

I've defiantly seen it spelt 'Mya' a lot - Mya was number 173 out of the top 1000 in 2017! Smile pronounced literally how it's spelt, I don't like the 'Mia' spelling as I feel like people would say Mee-ah.

But I think Isla is my favourite anyway so it doesn't matter Wink

@MissHenty I thought the same I've actually never met any babies/toddlers with these 'popular' names, only Isabella! Some people are put off by popular names but my names Chloe I grew up with 4 people in my class with the same name and I loved it Grin

Ahh you’ve got a gorgeous list

Girls I love Aria or Isla

Boys I love all those names, maybe Theo or Teddy best but I really love Oliver and actually haven’t met one yet under 5yo despite it being no 1 name

Cookit · 17/11/2019 09:29

Mya? I thought the general spelling was Maya (which I love). Or Mia if you are going for MEE-a pronunciation.
I like both Maya and Mia but Mya looks very wrong.

Boys - I like Theo and Oliver. Teddy I really really hate as a name.

MrsBertBibby · 17/11/2019 09:06

By Mya do you mean Mia or Maya? Maya is lovely, the Mya spelling looks odd.

Rainbowqueeen · 17/11/2019 07:58

Isla and Theo

emilybrontescorsett · 17/11/2019 07:50

Isabella and Edward but not Teddy. If you aren't going to use Edward then I'd go for Oliver.

ilovemykids5 · 17/11/2019 07:15

If I was having a boy he was going to be Albie. But it's a girl and she will be Aria. 😊

FriedasCarLoad · 17/11/2019 06:59

Isla and Isabella are lovely. Not keen on the other two.

Oliver’s very nice. Love the other boy’s names as nicknames, with the longer name being the proper one, ie Theodore, Albert and Edward or Edmund.
