Are any of these names chavvy?

Sorry for the goady title, I'll probably get flamed for using the term 'chavvy' but I just need to know if I'm setting my future child up for a lot of judgement. People do judge others for their names after all. So we have:

Summer
Lydia
Elise
Autumn
Aurelia

It's Latin - classical - and means golden. Beautiful name, very pretty.

I think Summer and Autumn are borderline, not because they're intrinsically uneducated or tacky sounding names - they're beautifuland if anything, rather hippie - but because of the demographic they've been popular with. Especially Summer.

The others aren't. Especially Aurelia.

Only if you‘ve never done Latin, Roman history, been to France, Italy etc.

How on earth is Elise chavvy? Confused
So many ignorant comments on this thread...

And as for 'Summer', the poshest and most pretentious person I know has a child called 'Samhradh', (pronounced Sow(as in pig) Ra) which is the Irish word for summer.
It's regarded as a beautiful, descriptive name, very much associated with nature & the time of year that the baby was born.

Can't believe people are saying Elise is chavvy! Had no idea it was being used in those kind of circles. Can't deny it's put me off a little, thought it was a lovely name.

I think Elise is chavvy. Autumn is lovely. Lydia is dreadful, a really dated OAP name.

No such thing as a chavvy name. It is the behavior of the person which makes it chavvy. Raise her like a lady and she can be named Gypsy Rose Lee -- it won't matter!

I hate the name 'chavvy' for names but if I had to choose then Autumn and Summer are a little 'chavvy'

But as others have said, a person's behaviour can be chavvy and that in turntaints their name. This is generally how these associations are made.
