A friend of my parents had a t-shirt with Jim Royle on it saying "I'm off for an Eartha Kitt".

I immediately thought Eartha Kitt too so I guess it depends on whether you're comfortable with the association, probably won't be relevant to your DC's generation though

My first thought was Eartha Kitt too.
She was a real seed symbol of her time and a brilliant actress too.
I think it's an unusual name, but I like it.

Can't hear it without thinking of Eartha Kitt.

It's harsh sounding like Bertha or Arthur. Wouldn't be my choice and I'd feel some pity for a child to have such a name.
