What do you all think of Toby Jacob? To go with older brother Noah H

Other names we like are Charlie, Jacob and Fraser.
I will not be using any longer versions of names. I dont like one name on birth certificate and using a different one. I believe the name you use should be the one on the birth certificate.

Thanks Smile

I love both names, but not together.

FuzzyPenguin · 08/12/2019 16:55

Love Toby, I have one too. Although he is Tobias officially, we do use both names. He is a Tobias Eli. He was very nearly a Noah so we have similar taste it seems

FizzyGreenWater · 08/12/2019 16:49

MyDevilsFatDachshund would be a fab username.

Love Toby.

Leopardprintboots · 08/12/2019 09:02

Did you make a decision @olympia7

LittleDoveLove · 08/12/2019 08:11

I have a Toby also not a Tobias and it goes very nice with Jacob x

olympia7 · 16/11/2019 21:06

Hmm, its starting to sound awkward the more I say it, as the surname begins with B.....

Mine’s Toby James, the latter being my dad’s name.

IckleBear · 16/11/2019 15:11

Love Toby but not with Jacob.
Toby Peter
Toby Alexander
Toby Daniel
Toby Magnus

MikeUniformMike · 16/11/2019 15:05

Great. No point in using Tobias if he is only going to be called Toby.
Good classic name. Shakespeare ...

I'd use Fraser as MN

NoSauce · 16/11/2019 13:30

I find Toby a bit weak if I’m honest. I think Jacob goes better with Noah.

Herewegoagain84 · 16/11/2019 08:23

Really love Toby, but Jacob not so much - and not sure they hang together well.

CatherineOfAragonsPrayerBook · 16/11/2019 01:37

Imo, Jacob complements Noah as a first name better as they are both biblical and similar emphasis on the same vowels being from same language roots.

Toby is a nice name, but again I don't feel 'Toby Jacob' flows so well. Imo Jacob is too strong and competes with the Toby. I think a different 2nd name, preferably one syllable so full attention is on the Toby.

Toby Finn
Toby Mark
Toby Heath
Toby Lee
Toby Sean etc etc

BonBon411 · 16/11/2019 00:54

I like Toby Jacob, but I also love Charlie!

Moominfan · 15/11/2019 23:46

It's a lovely timeless name

MissHenty · 15/11/2019 23:44

I love the name Toby! It goes brilliantly with Noah ❤️

Makesmilingyourbesthobby · 15/11/2019 23:43

Charlie I like

Makesmilingyourbesthobby · 15/11/2019 23:43

Love Toby and Jacob, Fraser and

Tillygetsit · 15/11/2019 23:43

Good God autocorrect has gone berserk! Random comma and it was meant to say dfi as in father in law not devil. Sorry.

Tillygetsit · 15/11/2019 23:40

I prefer Jacob to Toby tbh. The two Toby's I've met were both really wet so that's ruined the name for me. Its also the name of my devil's fat dachshund.

Ellmau · 15/11/2019 19:47

Very nice.

Chocmallows · 15/11/2019 19:42

Love it

scrivette · 15/11/2019 19:29

I like it.

bluebellation · 15/11/2019 19:20

Love it, not a name you hear much these days.

Alsohuman · 15/11/2019 19:19

My son’s name is Toby - not Tobias. Needless to say, I really like it.

Angie6868 · 15/11/2019 19:17

I like it 🙂
