Any ideas? Ideally one syllable but two could be okay too...thanks in advance!

Other names we like but have ruled out include:

Jasper
Oscar
Arlo
Archie

Following the tangent, I know loads of kids called Arlo, why on earth would it be a name that would lead to bullying?

Anoushka1986 · 17/12/2019 07:05

@KarenSmith123 Arlo is a pretty popular name at the moment where I'm from, not sure why this would lead to bullying 🤷‍♀️

@Anoushka1986

How about Ari Roux (pronounced roo obviously)

Think that's sooo cool

Anoushka1986 · 17/12/2019 01:17

@RedandYellowSunrise it's pronounced Ari rhymes with sari rather than rhymes with Harry. Similar to Arlo or Archie. I think maybe it sounds different with my Aussie accent.

@TigerBilly areola Made me laugh 😆

@KloppageTime oh definitely not those names two names together, I just meant that Arlo is the type of name we like.

At the moment we are leaning towards Ari Oliver ....although now I have areola in my head 😝

Thanks for your help ladies x

Ari and Arlo and nice names individually but dont think they would work together as a first/middle names... also it rhymes with (or could be misheard as) Gary Barlow!

When I saw Ari I thought Ola and I think Owen is too close.
Is it pronounced as Harry missing the H?

Cbeebiesrehab · 16/12/2019 22:04

Ari is a lovely name! I really like the sound of Ari James but if you like the vowel sound I like Ari Austin or Ari Oscar.

TigerBilly · 16/12/2019 20:43

Thanks for your help everyone! There's been a couple of suggestions that I love that my partners not into unfortunately. But hearing your suggestions has made me realise I like the sound of having a second name starting with a vowel. Now leaning towards Ari Owen ..
