@PG2018

Nora(h) Esme is GORGEOUS! Wish it was my name x

Jossina · 11/11/2019 23:17

Esme is my favourite. Sylvie if it was a nn for Sylvia or Sylviana etc.

DramaAlpaca · 11/11/2019 23:12

Sylvie Florence is really lovely.

Nora(h) is such a dowdy, unattractive name, IMO.

Idolovetobebesidethesea · 11/11/2019 23:09

Sylvie Florence is stunning!

PsychosonicCindy · 11/11/2019 18:24

I think Ivy Nora is best from your first list although I agree with pp that Nora is better with the h added.
I don't like Esme at all.
I would rather use Florence Sylvie than the other way around.

Fairybobbin · 11/11/2019 18:20

Lovely options!
I know Nora is becoming more popular, but just personally I struggle with it being a 'Granny' name... It goes beautifully as a middle name though?

Ivy Nora
Esme Nora
Sylvie Esme (Es-may? )

Sylvie Florence is nice too...
I'm not sure if this has helped much, but I think they go nicely together! 😊

Obviously I don't know how long your surname is, but you might need to think about the amount of syllables as the top options have two and if it is two, two, two it will sound odd.

Love Nora, ivy and sylvie
I know a few Esme's at my daughters school.
Both names you've just posted are lovely or Nora florence
Nora sylvie

PG2018 · 11/11/2019 16:04

Thanks for all the suggestions

Just wondered what people thought of

Sylvie Florence

Or

Nora(h) Esme

I like Sylvie best.

Idolovetobebesidethesea · 10/11/2019 11:13

Sylvie is lovely.
They don't follow well together because of the repeated sounds (except for Nora which I don't love).
How about:
Sylvie Leonora
Sylvie Dorothea

Ivy and Esme are cute but so popular...

Purplecatshopaholic · 10/11/2019 07:05

PS I know it’s Sylvie, autocorrect just likes to add an a...

Purplecatshopaholic · 10/11/2019 07:03

Love Sylvia. Beautiful name. Esme is pretty too. Ivy is great if you are giving birth to a 74 year old. Nora has too many connotations as others have mentioned - poor kid will be teased

thatmustbenigelwiththebrie · 10/11/2019 06:56

I like ivy. Not keen on the others.

Whattodoabout · 10/11/2019 06:27

Ivy and Nora are lovely.

17caterpillars1mouse · 09/11/2019 21:57

I'm not keen on Esme but the others are lo Ely. I especially love Nora though prefer Norah as it looks more complete to me

Shadow1234 · 09/11/2019 06:28

Esme

LucileDuplessis · 09/11/2019 06:22

My favourite is Ivy.

custardbear · 09/11/2019 05:59

Not Nora as people remember Nora Batty, and at school we used to have the nit nurse who was called Nitty Nora the flea explorer 😯

Astronica · 09/11/2019 04:21

I love Sylvie and Ivy. Esme is okay.

You could put Nora in the middle with any of these, but I'd look for something else that goes better.

Sylvie/Ivy/Esme Jane
Sylvie/Ivy Matilda
Esme Florence
Sylvie/Ivy/Esme Beatrix

EleanorShellstrop100 · 09/11/2019 04:05

I LOVE Sylvia and Nora!

Ivy and Esme are so popular where I live, they’re becoming the new Lily/Evie, so it puts me off despite the beautiful souns

BonBon411 · 09/11/2019 03:50

Ivy Michelle
Nora Jane
Esme Rayne
Sylvia Brielle

I like the all... was playing around with middle names.

HotSince82 · 08/11/2019 22:16

I have a Sylvie, she is Sylvie Jacinta.
I like Nora too.

MrsBertBibby · 08/11/2019 22:11

Really dislike Nora and Esme.

Sylvie is very pretty. Ivy is nice, but a bit popular imo.

ojo821 · 08/11/2019 21:15

I really like Ivy and Nora! Esme is also quite nice too. Not sure about any of them together.

SallyWD · 08/11/2019 21:14

Lovely names. I like them in this order - Sylvie, Nora, Ivy and Esme
