I’m expecting a baby boy and I’m really loving the name Fabian. 😍 Any (kind) thoughts please? x

I like it, but people will assume your politics, so if you’re a rabid Tory, think again.

NoSauce · 06/11/2019 22:36

We have one in our extended family, he’s nearly 16 and it really suits him.

It's ok, I like the NN Fabes

SpookilyBadOooooooh · 06/11/2019 20:18

Fabian

Sorry, but I think it’s awful.

Congratulations on your DS though!

DramaAlpaca · 06/11/2019 20:16

It sounds like the posh socialist opposite of the posh Tory Sebastian. Not for me at all.

ErrolTheDragon · 06/11/2019 19:13

Posh sounding socialist?Confused

'a member or supporter of the Fabian Society, an organization of socialists aiming to achieve socialism by gradual rather than revolutionary means.'

Er, no.

Majorcollywobble · 06/11/2019 19:12

I think there was a 50‘s pop star called Fabian . And a political group called the Fabian society.

PointlessUsername · 06/11/2019 19:11

Its nice

EleanorShellstrop100 · 06/11/2019 19:10

ThroughThickAndThin01 · 06/11/2019 18:46

I like it. The Fabian we know only gets Fabian.

lalafafa · 06/11/2019 18:42

like it, he'll get called Fab though

purpleme12 · 06/11/2019 18:08

PsychosonicCindy · 06/11/2019 17:24

I like it. I know a Fabian mainly gets called Fabes!

Cbeebiesrehab · 06/11/2019 17:22

I like it! Unusual. Although the diminutives aren’t as nice as the full name.

user1493494961 · 06/11/2019 17:19

Not to my taste but I've heard worse.

daisypond · 06/11/2019 16:59

Yes, it’s good.

diddlediddle · 06/11/2019 16:57
