I realise these are two very different styles of name, and probably also not v popular but I like then both!
What do you think? Oh, for a dd that will probably be born in April, so that might be a bit twee 🙈

I love april and would pick that

CassandrasCastle · 31/10/2019 10:51

I probably prefer Evangeline...but April is very sweet. I want to be persuaded to love it, ha

April in April is fine. I know a June born June and an August born one!!. April is lovely!
Love Evangaline but chances of uses full name at every needed moment are small!! And using a nn is pointless having given the full name iyswim!!

sleepismysuperpower1 · 31/10/2019 10:26

you could always call her the full length name at home, and let the teachers know at school that she wants to be called her full name, however i think you will find other dc will shorten it (which is what happened to my dd)

CassandrasCastle · 31/10/2019 10:18

Hm yes...it would inevitably get shortened to Evie I suppose :/ I'd like to use the full version. I think I'm influenced by the author Clover Stroud's adorable daughter... (Unfortunately Clover has been vetoed Grin I'm starting to sound a bit of a stalker)

I prefer Evangeline but would hate it being shortened whereas you've no worry of that with April

sleepismysuperpower1 · 31/10/2019 10:15

Evangeline is lovely, though i would probably use the nn Evie or Eva
