We’re due our second daughter soon and finding choosing the perfect name so difficult!
We like short names (2 syllables maximum) and nothing that gets shortened too a nickname. We also looking for something outside of the top uk 40.

Our shortlist so far:
Vienna
Indie (not sure if it’s a strong enough name for an adult)
Luna (maybe too popular?)

Any thoughts on these names? Open to new suggestions!

Wheat2Harvest · 30/10/2019 00:22

Not Luna. It's inviting people to call her Lunatic.

Lexie and Bridie are lovely but you may not want the "ie" sound at the end when you already have Marnie.

Emma is beautiful, also Ada.

I had Dinah on my list

RockinHippy · 30/10/2019 00:16

Marnie & Martha

Whoops75 · 30/10/2019 00:13

Pearl
Esme
Ines
Polly
Nell
Tess

* "Vienna is three syllables, what about Viola? I think it's a prettier name and would avoid any future joke-potential about the city/canals/gondolas*"

That's Venice. Not Vienna.
