What name would you love to use but you feel you can't because it's from another culture?

Just for fun... I'm not even close to having a kid but love thinking about names.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Serafina (my all time favourite name!) but I'm not of Mediterranean or French descent and so it would be weird to use it - unless I marry a French man.

I also love Ettyenne, another French name (I think), it's just so elegant.

What do you wish you could use?

I love Russian female names, eg Valentina, Natalia, Svetlana, Anastasia. So cool, but I have absolutely no links with Russia except having been there on holiday....

I love Elena, Ziva, Natalia and Helena (pronounced He-lay-na rather than Helen-a). We went with something pretty similar so happy in the end.

I also wanted to use Etienne for a boy but thought I was not French enough (ie not at all!)

Solomon and Abraham. I’ve always loved both but have no connection to the culture.

I liked Elodie but felt it sounded as if I was trying to be exotic and French (is it even French?)
