What do you think? Is it too male dominated?

Sorry, not keen on Joey as a full name. It seems ... attenuated - as if she’s not worthy of a grand, grown up name.

HappyAtWork · 24/10/2019 13:09

I love it

I'm not keen on any of the longer versions is the problem (Josephine, Jolene) or anything, so it'd be Joey as a stand alone.

Jolene nn Joey?

hairyturkey · 24/10/2019 13:07

Love it!

Joanne or Joanna often end up Joey. I LOVE it! It’s lovely on a girl.

Dinosaursdontgrowontrees · 24/10/2019 13:05

I like it especially as a nick name for Josephine.

greeentopmilk · 24/10/2019 13:04

What about Joely if you're unsure?

SurpriseSparDay · 24/10/2019 13:04

Wouldn’t it be better to use the full name - Josephine - and then see which diminutive comes most naturally?

wishing4sun · 24/10/2019 13:04

I love it.

I know a female Joey... she's 19. It's a great name. She's really arty if that makes any difference to your opinion
