Tough choice, growing up I loved the name yasmin, I thought it was so glamorous but I also love the name iris, its one one of my favourite songs too!
I think you will find fewer yasmin's so if you want to go less popular, I'd choose that

Iris is more granny-chic, whilst Yasmin sounds exotic to me. Different types of name.
