Never even considered this name before but something about it really appealed to me today. It seemed to be girly yet elegant. Everything I look for in a name.
What do you think of Annabel?
Would it go well with Noah and Jacob?
Which would you prefer? Annabel or Matilda? Thank you.

Prefer Annabel. I know adult Annabels and I only know baby Matildas. Love Noah and Jacob.

Always adored the name Matilda though

Both the adult Annabelle’s I know have never been known as “Anna” at school or otherwise. But you could nickname it if you wanted

I like it a lot although the various spellings would put me off (not enough not to use it) - I adore Matilda

Both are on my list. I actually prefer Matilda but think we will go with Annabel because it is less popular.

Anna that it's shortened too, however, is awful, as is (orphan) Annie, and the reason I discounted Annabel from our shortlist.

I'll probably be going against the grain a bit but I do prefer the spelling Anabel
