At least five. But we are active Christians and it's a popular name in church circles. We know lots of Esthers and Hannahs too. And Naomis....

Powerplant · 19/10/2019 23:25

My best friend at school was Lydia so she must be nearly 60 now

Skyejuly · 19/10/2019 23:23

Four...aged 7, 3, 2, 6

PetraRabbit · 19/10/2019 23:21

Starlight456 · 19/10/2019 23:11

WobblyLondoner · 19/10/2019 23:11

One, late 40s.

Superlooper · 19/10/2019 23:10
  1. One in her late 20s, one in her 50s
RaininSummer · 19/10/2019 23:08

I have never known a Lydia.

Leflic · 19/10/2019 22:50

My Lydia’s are super posh but a bit quirky. One 30’s, one in her teens. Both nice if a bit self absorbed ( but not nastily) .

KronksSpinachPuffs · 19/10/2019 22:50

I can only think of 1 that I know of and shes in her early 20s

frasersmummy · 19/10/2019 22:48

I don't know if it's a glaswegian thing because we do run words together here
But Lydia up here would most likely get Lydia kettle?? Or Lydia dustbin??

aweedropofsancerre · 19/10/2019 22:46

I know one Lydia she was a dreadful individual and due to an incident at work I had to take her though a disciplinary process........ other than that I haven’t met anyone else

motortroll · 19/10/2019 22:46

2 at the moment, one is early 20s, one is about 7.

I have taught a couple but it's not common.

A very pretty name!

Mammy2Sonny · 19/10/2019 22:46

My sister is called Lydia she is 31. I love the name. It's different without being silly.

imnottoofussed · 19/10/2019 22:46

Just one aged 18

Paddingtonthebear · 19/10/2019 22:45

The adult Lydia’s are both under 30 I think

Thatnovembernight · 19/10/2019 22:45

Only ever known one. Went to school with her 30 years ago. I think it’s timeless and a great name.

Marcipex · 19/10/2019 22:45

None at all.

Paddingtonthebear · 19/10/2019 22:45

I work in a team of 15 and we have two Lydia’s. Plus I know one child Lydia

Stravapalava · 19/10/2019 22:44

No young Lydias. Just one acquaintance who is about 50-60. I love the name though!

squee123 · 19/10/2019 22:43

one in her mid twenties. I think of it as a young name

OkayGo · 19/10/2019 22:40

Just one in her 30s. Was quite an unusual name for our age though.

CheesyCheshireCat · 19/10/2019 22:37

Warminstermum my Liddie is often called Liddie-Lou too. No idea why!

CheesyCheshireCat · 19/10/2019 22:36

I have a Lidia! She's 9 months. We went with this spelling because we're a dual nationality family living abroad so we've taken the local spelling. She's mostly known as Liddie though. I know one other, in her late 30s. I LOVE her name

bakesalesally · 19/10/2019 22:33

Two.
