I have a Lydia - age 11. She sometimes gets lyds or lyddie but it really suits her. I know two others ages 14 and 22. All lovely girls.

I’m really enjoying how many people know a lovely Lydia. A few horrid ones peppered in there but the majority seem to be lovely.

One little girl of about 6/7.

purplepalace · 20/10/2019 09:38

katewhinesalot · 20/10/2019 09:30

PinkFlamingo888 · 20/10/2019 09:28

AloneLonelyLoner · 20/10/2019 09:10

One, early 40s. Met her at university, she was pretty darn hilarious and got a first class degree. I liked her a lot. I wish I still knew her.

Great name.

siriusblackthemischieviouscat · 20/10/2019 08:42

BoudicasBoudoir · 20/10/2019 08:23

mamaduckbone · 20/10/2019 08:10

None. Beautiful name.

SubmersibleSandwich · 20/10/2019 07:06

None!

(Not a fan of the "lid" sound though tbh)

chesterdraws1 · 20/10/2019 06:55

Just the one. She texts students to let them no If they have chlamydia or not (after free testing!)

"All clear, love Lydia"

BanKittenHeels · 20/10/2019 06:54

One in her mid sixties, very interesting woman.

Another aged 34 and genuinely one of the worst human beings I’ve ever had the misfortune to have met.
She has really put me off the name, sadly.

Mumof21989 · 20/10/2019 06:50

I know one in her 20s and one in her 50s, one in her 30s

NationMcKinley · 20/10/2019 06:26

2 - one is in her 50s, the other is 8.

SunshineAngel · 20/10/2019 06:08

I know two. One is a 22 year old girl who I used to mentor at primary school (so I suppose I don't "know" her anymore), and the other is a friend's daughter who I have never met because we are online friends.

I think it's a lovely name, but definitely uncommon.

Oh there was one at my high school actually in my year, though we never really spoke I don't think.

sanityisamyth · 20/10/2019 06:01
  1. She's she same age as me (36) as we grew up together.
Magpiefeather · 20/10/2019 05:39

2 in their 30s
1 in her early 20s

All lovely people

It’s a great timeless, strong but pretty name if you ask me . Love it

itswonkylampshade · 20/10/2019 05:26

One! My DD, aged four. She’s a great, confident and caring little character. Haven’t regretted choosing the name for a minute.

PenelopeFlintstone · 20/10/2019 05:26

None and have never met one either.
