MissHenty · 21/10/2019 10:27

Wow you don’t get many names like this that span generations but have consistently been underused - lovely!

honeybunlatte · 20/10/2019 20:49

Two. Both mid 20's. 1 is lovely. 1 is a knob head.

Also Aunt Lydia from the Handmaids Tale 😔

Dean Friedman sings a song about a Lydia

Bobbiepin · 20/10/2019 16:34

I know two. One is a toddler and the other is a sixth form student. I love the idea of squid as a nickname.

FizzyGreenWater · 20/10/2019 12:55

Two, both sadly known as Lid most of the time.

I don't like it, I have to say - no good short form, plus (totally unreasonably) it just reminds me of the sly spoilt brat in Pride and Prejudice!

It's one of those names which never quite seems to become popular, I can kind of see why - it's pretty short, but out loud it's three syllables and actually quite a prim-sounding mouthful unless you go for Lid!
