diddlediddle · 05/10/2019 08:29

Yes I like iris and hazel too although I think they're more popular.

Seems quite a positive response overall!

We have a Marigold in the family.
She is 27 and loves her name.
She uses the nn Goldie

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 04/10/2019 20:51

Pretty. Old-fashioned and lovely.

Chirpychirpy3 · 04/10/2019 20:49

No. Washing up gloves.
Don’t like primrose either.

123Dancewithme · 04/10/2019 20:40

I really like it!

dementedma · 04/10/2019 20:38

Nope. Too twee and washing up gloves

AfterSchoolWorry · 04/10/2019 20:16

I think its gorgeous.

hungryhippie · 04/10/2019 20:16

I think it's a beautiful sounding name, as is Primrose.

Mesmeri · 04/10/2019 20:15

Marigold would be an awesome name for a pet though...

Mesmeri · 04/10/2019 20:14

It's sweet but I don't think she'd thank you for it. I would go with Marion...

Rachelover60 · 04/10/2019 20:13

Oh I like Primrose too, and Rose (not sure about Hyacinth:-) ). Iris perhaps?

daisypond · 04/10/2019 19:50

I like it.

Autumnsloth · 04/10/2019 19:33

I like it

diddlediddle · 04/10/2019 19:30

Yes I like Primrose too!

I didn't even think of rubber gloves, shows how much cleaning/washing up I do 😂

OP posts:
AverageMummy · 04/10/2019 18:56

Not for me but I’ve heard plenty worse

IggyAce · 04/10/2019 18:51

It’s fine, not my cup of tea. I met a baby called Primrose recently and I think it’s similar in style to marigold.

Morado · 04/10/2019 18:47

It's awful on so many levels 🤮

CallMeRachel · 04/10/2019 18:44

No...my mind goes straight to those awful yellow rubber gloves

Marianne?
Miranda?

Pearlyxdrop · 04/10/2019 18:39

Not keen.
