Brother for Francesca

DS due in December, so far I like Daniel, Nicholas, Luca, Matteo and Dominic.
DD and DH like first three, DH says Dominic is "too Catholic", DH is Alexander and doesn't want DS to have same name.
I'm of Italian heritage and like Italian names but otherwise nothing too "out there"
Any thoughts on shortlist or suggestions for others?

EXCELLENT name for your daughter but I may be biased as a Francesca. Personally a huge fan of Matteo but it ultimately needs to be what you love and suits little one!

I wouldn’t worry how it sounds with Francesca because it will be pretty rare as they get older that you’ll continually be saying their names together. I’d just pick a name you like

Francesca & Luca sound a little too matchy to my ears (the ca ending). I like them both individually though.

No Sebastien (with an e) is French. In every other country it is Sebastian. I was going to suggest that when I read the OP. Both continental but would work with an English surname. Sebastian is Catholic traditionally though (he was a Roman Saint)

I have a Francesca and her brother is Sebastian. I also love Alexander.

From your list I prefer Luca. Don't like Dominic as he will get called Dom and I really don't think it. I do like Matteo, but again not keen on Matt/Matty.

Domenico, Nico for short. You can get away with it for the Italian connection and it sounds less Catholic than Dominic somehow.
