I love makes like Hera, Hestia, Dementria for girls. Any other strong but not overused Greek girls names?

I'm also struggling to think of middle names and whether they would sound silly if a completely different type of name e.g. Felicity, Florence

No one else will care about the ins and outs of the characters it's more about whether you do

Yes Demetria definitely not dementria!

I suppose my only worries are that the characters are a bit hit and miss and although many would argue Hera is a powerful woman, she is also shown to be quite spiteful and cruel.

Do you think this matters and if so which name would be best?

Hera is nice and will go with plenty of middle names.

Backinthebox · 02/10/2019 07:38

Dementria? Surely you mean Demetria?

Apolloanddaphne · 02/10/2019 07:36

Caliope
Hebe
Iris
Persephone
Rhea
Selene
Thalia

Artemis

All these ideas are lovely but please not Dementria as it will just make people think of dementia.

RickOShay · 02/10/2019 07:32

I’ve always liked Daphne.
Thetis?

What about for first name Hera as that's quite short?

Athena
Clio
Thalia
Hebe
Artemis
Calliope

BeanBag7 · 02/10/2019 07:28

Athena
Iris
Harmonia
Eirene
Hermione

I would go for a fairly short or plain middle name with most of these, because the Greek names are quite long and complicated. Something monosyllabic like Grace, Fleur, Eve, Pearl.
