Hi all

Just found out dc2 is a girl. We had picked a boy name but cannot agree on a girl name at all. Dd1 is Evelyn.
Surname ends in an ie sound so preferably not ending in that.

Any ideas? I dont like anything too "out there"

Adaline like Evelyn has two pronunciations it can be ad-a-Lyn or Ad-a-line I prefer the second.

I like Florence, not a name I had considered but I don't know why.
I also like Adaline, but not sure if it sounds too similar to Evelyn?
Francesca is lovely too, but I dont like Fran as a nickname and baby most likely would end up being called Fran.
We have a large family, with 13 other children in the close family (9 of which are girls). We do spend a lot of time together too so that rules out a lot of names unfortunately.
We have quite a short surname so medium or longer names seem to work better rather than short.
We quite like "grandparent" names. If we were having a boy the name would've been Albert Charles.
