Just that really- middle name will probably be Elisabeth after her grandma but am not too bothered about which ‘flows’ better as her middle name will he used so rarely Grin

LOVE Margot and definitely gets my vote over Bonnie. Good luck OP!

PandasMum · 15/10/2019 18:42

Margot is horrid it just reminds me of maggots & 4x4s

funkt · 15/10/2019 17:10

Margot, 100%

Ihateedmundelephant · 15/10/2019 14:56

Love both - can’t you use both? Margot Bonnie Elizabeth Surname or Bonnie Margot Elizabeth Surname

sagethyme · 14/10/2019 20:57

I always read Margot as maggot, kinda puts me off! I think Bonnie is a pretty name though.

Sparklypurpleunicornsaremyfav · 14/10/2019 20:05

I love the name margot, I like bonnie but automatically think of family guy (that voice is so annoying) swiftly followed by Clyde

Lavenderblues · 14/10/2019 12:32

Not Margot (so harsh especially pronounced Mar-got)

So Bonnie. But preferably Bonita or Beatrice?

Frith2013 · 14/10/2019 09:53

Neither.

But Margot is the name I dislike most in the world so I’d have to choose Bonny.

subwaysaladfan · 14/10/2019 09:50

Love both but if I had to choose Id probably go with Bonnie.

MarshaBradyo · 14/10/2019 09:39

Not Margot so Bonnie

JinCa · 14/10/2019 09:32

We have a three year old Margot, love the name! Bonnie is nice but a bit cute for me, maybe as a nickname?

Geneva1995 · 24/09/2019 20:54

Love them both 🤣 so I’m no help. If I had to choose, I’d probably go with Margot. Goes better with Elizabeth x

Grufallosfriends · 24/09/2019 09:02

The Margaux spelling is actually more popular than Margot in France!

Margot is often pronounced Mar-gott. Margaux or Margo is not.

MikeUniformMike · 24/09/2019 08:47

Margaux is awful. It doesn't look feminine - it just looks like it's a french wine region or something.
Margo is better, but the Margot spelling is more popukar.

MadisonAvenue · 24/09/2019 00:17

Bonnie.

Margot isn’t nice, it’s really harsh sounding.

123Dancewithme · 24/09/2019 00:08

Margot

Persea · 23/09/2019 23:50

Margot spelt Margaux if the other spelling reminds people of maggot.

howu2 · 23/09/2019 23:45

Margot reminds me
Of maggot.

Bonnie is cute

Astronica · 23/09/2019 23:35

I prefer Bonnie.

AverageMummy · 23/09/2019 20:43

@LetItGoHome I don’t think people mean too popular as in the statistics, but in that it’s an of the moment / faddy name.

Bonnie or Margot?
Phoebesgift · 23/09/2019 20:30

Margot 100%. Really dislike Bonnie. Sounds like a pet's name.

PrincessLouis · 23/09/2019 19:38

Both quite nice, Bonnie for me is the heroine of The Wolves of Willoughby Chase. Margot is Tony Hart’s assistant on Hart Beat. Think I may have answered the question for myself there...

MikeUniformMike · 23/09/2019 19:21

Of the two, Bonnie. Margot is strangely very popular right now - some celebrity called Margot perhaps?

Can only think of Bonnie Tyler and Bonnie Langford as famous Bonnies.

Not madly keen on either of them.

MissHenty · 23/09/2019 17:45

Vote for Margot. Lovely name
