What do you think of when you hear the name Hugo?

I love the name Hugo but DH thinks it might seem a bit posh/pretentious. What do you think?

Hugo is like that slightly cokey finance guy from the mid nineties. He tries to be fashionable but ends up sloaney. He's posh and not very bright.

The huge role-poly baby one of ExH’s fellow member of Chambers brought to the Chambers summer party. He was enormous. Cute of course, but I felt for his mum as he was huge at birth too. He was called Hugo. His parents were very, very, posh, pink and jolly.

I love it. If we hadn't called our cat Hugo I definitely would be thinking of using it if DC2 turns out to be a boy.

Hugo reminds me of my neighbours cat. He was a cute cat.

It's not a name I would choose (for a cat or a baby) but it's a perfectly decent name.

Became member of the Nazi party 1931. The Hugo Boss Company was one of the companies that designed the black uniforms for the SS.
