I was thoroughly convinced I was having a boy, but baby surprised us by arriving at 4:30am this morning and she is very much a girl.
Please drop 3 girls names below... help me out. Anything from classic to v exotic.

@NameChange30 you made me go and have a further look, the 'stat' stuck in my head from pregnancy. When DH told me there's no way of guessing or any motherly intuition - he was right in my case!

A pretty weak study was conducted on first time mothers who had no bias for sex and apparently 78% of mUms got it right. As I said it was pretty weak and it's in a google search so not peer reviewed but pretty interesting. Anecdotally most of my friends guessed correctly :)

Sounds like nonsense unless you have an actual source?

The only person who "guessed" our baby's sex was the sonographer at the 12w scan who clearly saw that he was a boy, and asked if we wanted her to "guess" (presumably because she's not allowed to say it's a boy at the 12w scan).

Anyone else who actually guesses might as well be flipping a coin.
