How do you pronounce Finlay?

We are considering the name Finlay for our DC. We like it pronounced Fin-lee, but our family think it should be pronounced Fin-lay.

Fin-lee here for both spellings. Must be a regional thing. I'm sure if you call him Fin-lee everyone else will, and in time he'll correct anyone who doesn't!

I’ve only ever heard it as Fin-lee. Maybe it’s a regional thing? Not sure

Finley and Finlay are both pronounced exactly the same. Fin-lay.

Only pronunciation I’ve ever been aware of is Fin-lay, as both a common first and second name in Scotland.

I would pronounce it as Fin-lay. if you want it to be pronounced Fin-lee then i would spell it as Finley. lovely name x
