Roz-a-line, as was in Romeo and Juliet.

TreeSunset · 15/09/2019 16:52

KronksSpinachPuffs · 15/09/2019 16:50

I'd pronounce it Roz-a-lin but that seems to be different to most pp

Emelene · 14/09/2019 20:06

"Roz-a-leen" was my thought too.

ItsMilkAndEggsBitch · 14/09/2019 20:03

Rozz a lin

farmthelettuce · 14/09/2019 20:00

Thanks everyone. We’re definitely not the type to get annoyed by people using another pronunciation/ mispronouncing- especially as we love all of them and are trying to decide between the pronunciations Roz-a-line and Rose-a-leen

MrsLEB · 14/09/2019 00:17

Roz a line

FairyDust92 · 14/09/2019 00:15

I'd say it like Rosalin

Treaclebee · 14/09/2019 00:03

I would ask the person named Rosaline how they would like it pronounced because I've heard it different ways.

Another vote here for Rosalind.

BertrandRussell · 13/09/2019 23:57

I’m amazed-and heartened- that so many people know a silent Shakespearean character!

YobaOljazUwaque · 13/09/2019 23:03

I would also tend to the Shakespearean Roz-uh-Line. Emphasis on 1st & 3rd syllables.

DramaAlpaca · 13/09/2019 22:54

Roz-a-line, like in Shakespeare.

BoggiesBonnieBelle · 13/09/2019 19:55

Roz ah leen

Moominfan · 13/09/2019 18:57

Rose - ah - leen like the amazing character from the under rated underground tv series

danni0509 · 13/09/2019 18:56

Or rose a leen

danni0509 · 13/09/2019 18:55

I pronounce rose a lin

Aragog · 13/09/2019 18:55

I'd ask the person, or parent, first as Im not sure:

Roz-a-lin
Roz-a-line
Roz-a-leen

MutedUser · 13/09/2019 18:54
