Which do you think is nicest? I love floral names but these are the only two me and OH can agree on.

I have a Liliana which I love. We decided on this as Lily is really popular in our area but now I call her Lily anyway, ooops Grin

By far prefer Lily BUT it is crazily popular.
Rosa or Flora?

Momma97 · 28/09/2019 22:08

Both beautiful names, but Daisy is so cute! Have not heard this name in years and its lovely

SomethingSpecialzz · 28/09/2019 22:05

My mum was called Lilly and hated the shorten version....

LolaSmiles · 28/09/2019 22:01

I like both, but I find it hard to picture Daisy as an adult so Lily would win for me

Wavyheaded · 28/09/2019 21:56

Daisy. Lily is too common.

Bishbosh84 · 28/09/2019 18:25

Definitely Lily

Love Daisy. If my bambino is a girl, she’ll be Daisy Smile

Leflic · 27/09/2019 20:03

All the Daisy’s I know are early 20’sand all have close friends called Lily, So not sure there is anything between them really.

I’d like a Fleur.

userabcname · 27/09/2019 19:39

I prefer Lily although I like both.

MissPepper8 · 27/09/2019 19:37

I love Lily, Daisy reminds me of cows though sorry as MIL had one called Daisy.

Poppy was on our list with Lily.

jennylouisaa · 26/09/2019 22:17

@Pippilsngstrumpfi it's a struggle! We differentiate by first letter of their surname (lily a, lily b, lily c etc) and also sit them as far apart as possible in the classroom so when we look over and say 'lily!' there's no confusion as to who we're talking about. It's all they've ever know so they don't seem to mind Smile

Myfanwyprice · 26/09/2019 21:43

They were my options for dd! We went with Lily, when I hear Daisy I do have a little pang and if we were to have another dd, Daisy would still be a contender.

I still love the name Lily though and more so of course because of my beautiful dd, so of the two that is my favourite 😊

noodlenosefraggle · 26/09/2019 21:35

I like Daisy

Mylittlerainbow · 26/09/2019 21:34

I like Daisy. I’m trying to name a little girl at the moment and if it wasn’t for knowing a Daisy who is a bit of a numpty, it might have been on my list

s3tut0y3r · 26/09/2019 21:31

What about Marguerite? It can be Daisy for short, as it means daisy in French. It's a bit different.
Lilian or Liliana are also both nice....

gillyginger · 25/09/2019 22:46

I'm no help, but both beautiful names, my dear mum is Lily, and have always loved Daisy, how about first and second name together..

Pippilsngstrumpfi · 25/09/2019 22:38

5 Lilys in just one class?! Shock

How do you differentiate them? There's not many nickname options...?

VenusClapTrap · 25/09/2019 22:04

Daisy.

jennylouisaa · 25/09/2019 21:30

Both nice, but I have 5 Lily's in my class! And they're very young so the name is definitely still very popular.

MissHenty · 14/09/2019 10:23
  • on current trajectory
MissHenty · 14/09/2019 10:23

Love both lily and daisy

Yes lily is popular but it’s popularity is now actually declining year on year so it will be no where near as common now as it was 2 years ago say

It’s dropped 10 places in the past few years, will be outside top 20 and then maybe even top 50 fairly soon ok current trajectory
