I really dislike it but cant put my finger on why, as it simultaneously sounds quite "chavvy" and posh at the same time (haaaaarvey - long a)

I taught a kid called Harvey and he is absolutely adorable. One of my favourite students, Love the name!

Love it - it's my DS's name Grinnearly suggested it on your thread earlier then got distracted!

There has only been 1 other I have heard of during primary school (over 400 kids, over 6 years) so not too common

Think it works for all ages too

There is something nice about it I get it, but I think it is forever linked to Katie Price. Also randomly makes me think of a Weston dog?!

Here’s the graph showing it’s popularity from the ONS stats- we’ve reached peak Harvey, it’s now falling again.

I’d avoid it, purely from having a name that makes my birth year very obvious myself.

Harvey Weinstein isn’t a great association. It was very popular in the noughties, haven’t heard it used as much recently. It’s an ok name, I don’t feel too strongly about it either way really.
