It's an adorable nickname imo.
I thought that Cassia was pronounced with a sh so Idk if people would shorten it to Cassie?

Cassiopeia and Cassandra are both nice.

C0untDucku1a · 12/10/2019 20:04

I went to college with a cassie who was cassandra in full.

daisypond · 12/10/2019 20:03

I don’t like it as a stand-alone name. It’s too twee. Cassandra is great.

courtlee · 12/10/2019 19:38

Really like it

peppinanna · 25/09/2019 09:36

Really like it

Frith2013 · 14/09/2019 16:56

I’d have it as short for Cassiopeia.

MissHenty · 14/09/2019 10:48

Cassie just makes me think “gassy”

Cassie is gassy 💨🤭

Answerthequestion · 14/09/2019 10:45

Nice and perfect as a stand alone name

tigertruly · 14/09/2019 10:38

Love it

DramaAlpaca · 11/09/2019 23:19

It's pretty but it doesn't work as a standalone name for me. I'm not keen on Cassandra or Cassia.

KronksSpinachPuffs · 11/09/2019 23:19

I like cassie and cassia 😊 not keen on pp suggestions of Cassandra though, it just reminds me of only fools and horses

Tillygetsit · 11/09/2019 23:17

I have a Cassia. Obvs I love it.

bridgetreilly · 11/09/2019 20:49

I don't like Cassie or Cassia or any other longer names much at all, sorry.

LaPufalina · 11/09/2019 19:33

A friend has a Cassiopeia which I think is just beautiful Smile

NoSauce · 11/09/2019 19:29

I don’t like it but weirdly love Cassia which is similar

Same.

vampirethriller · 11/09/2019 19:22

I don’t like it but weirdly love Cassia which is similar

joystir59 · 11/09/2019 12:48

I don't like it. It reminded me of Kezia which I do like.

SquintEastwood · 11/09/2019 12:39

I love it.

It was on my list for #2 but DH just didn't like it.

I planned to use it as a standalone, I don't understand having one name on the birth Certificate and calling them something completely different. It's a perfectly acceptable name in its own right!

Mayannay · 11/09/2019 12:37

A good nickname god Cassandra. I like Cassandra!

OnlyFoolsnMothers · 11/09/2019 12:28

so lovely but I do think its a nickname, short for Cassandra

elliex1 · 11/09/2019 12:18

I LOVE IT! cannot use it though as it is one of my sisters’ names. It is her registered name but I think I would use Cassia... so pretty. Cassandra is way to frilly and long for me.

JustOneMoreCofy · 11/09/2019 11:56

It's a lovely name, unusual these days but still.

Grufallosfriends · 11/09/2019 11:55

I really like Cassandra. And Cassia or Cassie are cute nicknames

Lavenderblues · 11/09/2019 11:40

Cassandra is beautiful!
