Expecting DD2, trying to decide between Sienna, Zara and India. Also would appreciate suggestions for middle names! DD1 is Scarlett Grace.

Ha! Scunthorpe has a nice ring to it too.

666onmyhead · 11/09/2019 13:46

@Nonmerci yes definitely pronounced 'Selby' maybe she was conceived there ? Could have been worse, Margate doesn't sound so good !

Nonmerci · 11/09/2019 10:11

She was called Selby.

Selby is a town near York, not a name Grin. You sure it wasn’t Shelby?

I’d choose Zara.

MrsBertBibby · 11/09/2019 09:38

Zara. No contest.

Zara Verity

Astronica · 11/09/2019 08:00

Zara is the standout of those for me.

With all of them I suggest these middles: Jane, Lucy, Phoebe, Blythe, Catherine, June.

Justkeeprollingalong · 10/09/2019 23:02

India Rose

hazandduck · 10/09/2019 22:02

Oh I love all 3 of those names and have them on my enormous girls list!

We seem to have the same taste :) Others I love are:

Phoebe
Cleo
Clementine
Saffron (Saffy)
Lara
Elodie
Delilah
Belle
Pearl
Margot
Dorothea

Middle names I would go for a ‘down’ sound, because they all end in ‘a.’ If that makes any sense!

Peony99 · 10/09/2019 21:54

Zara 😊

DramaAlpaca · 10/09/2019 21:21

Zara or Sienna. Not India.

LegoPiecesEverywhere · 10/09/2019 19:31

Zara

sawyersfishbiscuits · 10/09/2019 19:10

I like all three. Kind of feel if it's India there needs to be a reason...?
I like Zarah spelt like this... no idea why?

Sienna and Scarlett definitely sound nice together though.
Saffron is nice too.

firawla · 10/09/2019 19:08

Zara

666onmyhead · 10/09/2019 19:06

I heard a mum chatteing to her daughter in the supermarket on Sunday . She was called Selby. Sounded lovely to me.

SavageBeauty73 · 10/09/2019 18:52

I love Sienna.

My parents were going to name me India but named me Amber instead.

Dollywilde · 10/09/2019 18:45

I’d try to avoid same initials - if they’re at the same school some stuff is labelled Surname, S. I like all your options though and I’m sure it’s something you can get past if you really favour Sienna!

twirlypoo · 10/09/2019 18:44

Curve ball, but what do you think of Zena? If sprang to mind as soon as I read your list.

Hayls17 · 10/09/2019 18:44

Thanks everyone! I’m leaning towards Sienna, I think it goes best with Scarlett too. Hadn’t really thought about the same initials I guess as a previous poster said not much comes through the post nowadays, so might not be such an issue when they are teens opening their own post.

Zara

sue51 · 10/09/2019 18:42

Zara

MissHenty · 10/09/2019 18:40

2 of my sibling have same initial. Hand on heart it’s never even been mentioned

AverageMummy · 10/09/2019 18:19

Zara
@MissHenty my kids don’t get post but spelling & initials are such a huge thing when they’re small that they were shocked I even considered a name with the same initial !

GU24Mum · 10/09/2019 16:49

Zara is definitely my favourite though probably "goes" least well.

Igottastartthinkingbee · 10/09/2019 15:51

Zara every time.

MissHenty · 10/09/2019 15:46

Nah same initials is fine I think. I don’t even get letters from doctors anymore- it’s all online. Phone bill. Bank statements. Imagine what it’ll be like by the time little Sienna and Scarlet start getting post! @Lavenderblues

Just my personal opinion anyway

Lavenderblues · 10/09/2019 15:29

I'd avoid the same initials
