Just that really.
Which would you choose?
Thanks

Both gorgeous

whattodowith · 08/09/2019 15:23

Imogen. I’m not keen on season names.

Chillisauceboss · 08/09/2019 15:11

I really like the name Autumn. But to echo a bit of an MN obsession: it doesn't seem to nickname well at all? I have no idea how it would shorten....
With that in mind I'd say Imogen but only by a small margin!
Both good choices imo

Starstruck2020 · 08/09/2019 14:59

Imogen.

LucieFurr · 08/09/2019 14:51

Imogen

cinnamonbun · 08/09/2019 14:50

Imogen is my favourite, but I am biased as that is my daughters name! They're both great names though x

MissHenty · 08/09/2019 14:16

@icecreamsundae32 Charlotte is a gorgeous name! I’m the same though- let my husband cajole me into a name I wasn’t sure of!!

Newday1 · 08/09/2019 14:04

icecreamsundae32 my husbands favourite name is Charlotte, looks like we have similar taste. But as my name is Charlotte that was a no go. I love my name and only ever got compliments so think it's a fab choice.

Really like Aria as well

@Newday1 husband got his way "Charlotte" in the end and to be honest I regretted not pushing for one of my choices harder but she's nearly 2 now and she has grown into her name. I also loved Aria and Elizabeth.

IggyAce · 08/09/2019 10:41

I like both but I would and did pick Imogen.
Just checking you like any of the following nn: Immie, Idgy, Imz, Iggy and Mog.

Newday1 · 08/09/2019 10:30

MitziK love that! Hadn't even thought of that! X

What about Imogen Autumn Newday?

The two names go together perfectly.

Newday1 · 08/09/2019 10:20

icecreamsundae32 I like that meaning Smile alot. Also like Amber and Considered it. What did you go for in the end?

And totally agree. I'd find it weird to be a baby in a different season. Gatepost1820 that's just odd! Confused

Imogen! But then I'm biased as it's my DD's name....

GlasshouseStoneThrower · 08/09/2019 09:58

Imogen. I really don't like Autumn, but Imogen is very pretty.

Becles · 08/09/2019 09:56

Imogen

AmericanLemonade · 08/09/2019 09:42

Imogen, it’s my DDs name. She’s almost 8 and I adore it, she loves it too.

rachelgrace · 08/09/2019 09:37

Autumn. I love it

Astronica · 08/09/2019 09:15

I'm another who loves both so find this really hard. Not much help here but I'd edge towards Imogen today. If popularity concerns you I'd go towards Autumn though.

MissHenty · 08/09/2019 09:00

Imogen is classic and gorgeous plus SO much nickname potential

Imo
Immy
Ginny
Imm
Gen (sounds like Jen)

Gatepost1820 · 08/09/2019 08:53

When are you due? I think a baby Autumn has to be born in Autumn. I know a girl called Summer whose birthday is in October. So if you're choosing a seasonal name then at least the baby should be born in that season otherwise it's pointless.

icecreamsundae32 · 08/09/2019 08:44

Love both. Imogen means image of her mother doesn't it? @Newday1
I suggested both to my husband but my husband said autumn was too different and Imogen reminded him of someone on big brother many years ago!
Do you like amber? That was another one I liked that husband wouldnt go for!

indianbackground · 07/09/2019 19:09

I prefer Imogen. Autumn is a lovely name but I have a mental block on spelling it. It’s not a problem now there is spell check, but I used to spell it Autunm

Mumshappy · 07/09/2019 19:05

Both lovely names. I'd personally go for Autumn. I only know one. Shes very cute and independent.
