I cannot decide on a middle name for Wren.
Any suggestions?
Preferably two or three syllables.
Thank you!

Unfortunately some people are equally rude about it in real life.

eccentricalice · 09/09/2019 14:42

Agree @StarlightCeleste some of the comments on here are very odd. A lot of MN posters are so out of touch with names and think every child should have an old fashioned boring name

StarlightCeleste · 09/09/2019 12:05

Are you being deliberately obtuse Familyofaliens? I clearly mean the people being rude and thinking they are utterly hilarious with their stupid suggestions.
You can have a different opinion without being unkind, making inflammatory remarks or making fun of people.

FamilyOfAliens · 08/09/2019 22:16

Where did all the name arseholes come from?

What, you mean people with a different opinion to the OP? I dunno, I think they’ve been round a while ...

Heh1991 · 08/09/2019 22:15

I think a longer name 3+ syllables goes nicely as a middle name to Wren;

Wren Louisa
Wren Amelia
Wren Elizabeth
Wren Alexandra

C0untDucku1a · 08/09/2019 22:13

Wren Esme Grin

I like wren michelle.

june2007 · 08/09/2019 22:11

Jenny. (But they should be the other way round.)

Kittykatmacbill · 08/09/2019 22:05

Love wren! It was on the list for dd1.

I was going to suggest wren Elizabeth... it seems a popular suggestion!

MilkTrayLimeBarrel · 08/09/2019 14:05

Nuthatch, Goldcrest, Blackbird ???

Hannah1990x · 08/09/2019 12:23

Wren Elizabeth is so pretty
Wren Ivy
Wren Violet

FantasticPhyllis · 08/09/2019 12:15

Wren Clementine

MissHenty · 08/09/2019 12:13

@HamWater people are often totally out of touch on MN I think 🤣
A couple of years ago I saw lots of parents warned off names like Albert and Arthur as being awful dated names that will get teased. Completely mainstream now.
I’ve also seen lots of parents in previous years warned off Ralph because of Judy Bloom. What kid nowerdays is going to have read Judy Bloom 🤣
Ralph now a pretty mainstream name! I bet those parents regret not using it now because of MNeters!

Sophronia · 08/09/2019 11:34

Wren Alexandra

HamWater · 08/09/2019 09:28

I love Wren! I've noticed it's becoming popular lately, especially as a middle name, so it's strange how people seemed shocked by it on this thread.

Anyway, I like Wren Elizabeth, Wren Francesca, Wren Eloise.

ginginchinchin · 07/09/2019 22:09

I think the nickname would sound like Rennie (sorry if it's already been mentioned)

AverageAvenger · 07/09/2019 22:07

Wren Viola

Butterflyball · 07/09/2019 21:14

I love the name and have used it as a middle name for our dd2 Bella Wren, have so many lovely comments 😊

JoxerGoesToStuttgart · 07/09/2019 21:11

Does she need a middle name? Personally I wouldn’t bother with a middle name just for the sake of it unless you had something you really wanted to use like a family name or something. Wren is really enough name on its own.

anydream · 07/09/2019 21:08

Wren Florence
Wren Miranda
Wren Constance
Wren Matilda

I like Wren. It's pretty.

StarlingsInSummer · 07/09/2019 21:07

Actually, Wren Amelie works. But that’s about it.

StarlingsInSummer · 07/09/2019 21:07

I love Wren but I don’t think anything sounds ok following it. I’d pick a lovely first name from those suggested above, use Wren as her middle name, but call her by her middle name.
