I instantly loved my son's name Noah but really struggling this time around!
I don't want matchy names.
This is my list so far but I'm just not sure..... What do you think of these names? Suggestions also welcome.

Matilda - Girls name from when I was expecting Noah, but not sure whether to use.
Sofia
Evie
Darcey
Georgia - Heard on a baby recently and really liked.
Elsie
Frankie - Unisex but seems to have a lovely appeal about it
Connie - Had a dream before I found out I was expecting that I'd have a girl called Connie. Worried my family will think its too old fashioned.

Your help would be immensely appreciated!

Love everything nautical...... took a liking to Marina, but could I have Noah and Marina together?

I also love Juliet too but this was a nickname for me by a good friend many years ago - so I wondered if I could really use for my child?

Love Matilda, as pp would use Francesca, dislike Darcey and Paloma, only like the spelling Sophia, to me Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria..

I love several of your names! Georgia and Connie are on my list too and I would just go Connie, not a longer version.

I dont like Matilda but some other names on my list are
Sadie
Penelope
Zoe
Robyn/Robin
Olive (bit out there but it's a family name)

Matilda - lovely name
Sofia - nice name but prefer the Sophia spelling
Evie - nice name but very popular
Darcey/Darcy - Love this name (dont mind either spelling)
Elsie - One of my favourite old lady names
Frankie - Love Francesca and would have this as nn
Connie - probably my least favourite on the list
Georgia - lovely name
Paloma - not for me

I like Connie (my daughter has a friend called this - it’s a great name) and I like Sofia too. A friend of mine has a baby called Bonnie which is also nice!

userabcname · 01/09/2019 16:07

Oh I do like Paloma!

userabcname · 01/09/2019 16:07

Matilda - I don't mind this name but I don't love it.
Sofia - pretty, classic, don't think it would 'date'.
Evie - at this point I find it quite boring as there are just soooo many so it's a no from me.
Darcey - I really like this name.
Georgia - lovely. Probably my favourite on the list.
Elsie - on trend with the old-fashioned names that have made a comeback, don't really like it personally.
Frankie- quite like, probably would use this as a nn for Francesca.
Connie - not a huge fan.

Suggestions: Jemima, Georgina, Leila, Victoria.

Also just found Paloma. Thought it sounded strong and sophisticated but is it too "out there" to be used?

Not sure what happened to Connie - I adore Connie as a nickname but would probably prefer a longer full name if I used it myself. I think my favourite of the long versions would be Coraline.

AverageMummy · 01/09/2019 16:03

Matilda - adore this name
Sofia - also fabulous
Evie - it’s ok but I find it boring
Darcey - the multiple spellings all individually popular put me off this
Georgia - It’s ok but more trendy than classic so less my own personal style - I adore Georgiana though
Elsie - pretty
Frankie - don’t like it
