Just love this for baby girl. Don’t know what I’m having... 35 weeks today. Boy’s name sorted. Thoughts?

Senna Rose is my favourite.

Be honest but not too brutal!

How about
Castor
Fybogel
Dulcolax
Glycerin
Lactulose
Prunella

All very pretty...

catsandkid · 27/09/2019 20:33

Immediately think of laxatives and constipation. ... as will most people.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 27/09/2019 20:25

I also used to work with a Susannah who went by Zanna.

BuzzShitbagBobbly · 27/09/2019 20:23

I know a Sanna through work connections.

I think she's Nordic but not sure precisely where.
I like the name though.

Similarly Nordic (but not -nna) is Malin.

Joeybee · 27/09/2019 18:51

I just think of laxatives tbh. It's a shame, as otherwise it's a lovely name.

FizzyGreenWater · 27/09/2019 18:38

Serena, Sabina, Sabrina

AgeLikeWine · 25/09/2019 22:33

You want to name your daughter after a dead racing driver who was killed live on TV in a horrific crash in which his car speared into a wall at over 150 mph causing a suspension component to pierce his helmet visor and embed itself into his brain?

That is rather odd....

wallymum · 25/09/2019 22:27

Sia

TinyPaws · 25/09/2019 22:13

Another "no" vote here, you'd be subjecting your daughter to a lifetime of poo jokes.

How about Paloma if you want an unusual name with a Spanish vibe?

MissHenty · 04/09/2019 16:56

Senna? As in the laxative? Is this another joke post or did you mean to write sienna?

Mackerz · 04/09/2019 16:33

Just clearing out my bathroom cupboards and saw something that made me think Senna Maxine would be a good name!

Lowcarblady · 30/08/2019 01:11

Serena is nice.

You might also consider

  • Cassandra
  • Luna
  • Althea
  • Cleo
  • Calliope
  • Iris

LatteLove · 29/08/2019 23:29

How about Sennen instead, like the beach/village in Cornwall?

I love this because I love the place so much but my autocorrect keeps changing it to Semen, worth bearing in mind ;)

LatteLove · 29/08/2019 23:27

I just read a book with a character called Zennor, it’s a village in Cornwall (we were near there on holiday at the time I read the book)

Might be similar?

tabbycat985 · 29/08/2019 23:24

I feel awful for you OP because I think Senna is a very cool name & I have a friend who has just named his daughter this after the race driver Aryton Senna/ the McLaren car.
It must be a very English thing to associate it with a medication

june2007 · 29/08/2019 22:21

Don't add rose it's far too popular at the moment. (Jessica Rose, Felicity rose, Courtney rose, Lily rose, Emily rose. all children I have met last couple of years.)

IdahoGreen · 29/08/2019 22:18

It’s at moments like this that I think the Baby Names forum is a public service.

OP, didn’t you know senna was a laxative?

neverornow · 29/08/2019 22:16

Such a shame it's the name of a laxative (of all things) as it's a very pretty name

Also a shame how blunt people are on here Hmm
Trying to think of pretty similar (ish) sounding names;

Sienna
Serena
Zena
Sanna
Sari
Savanna
