I think it's beautiful. Good choice. No idea why it's so divisive as it's a lovely old Dutch name. Rembrandt's wife was called Saskia and that's the association I make when I hear it.

Yes, really nice name.

My head does instantly go to either that silly film The Wedding Video with Robert Webb in, or Easterners circa 2000, but those associations would quickly be broken if I knew an actual Saskia!
