Best girls name from our choices?

Layleah · 25/08/2019 12:54

My DH and I have whittled down our choices of names. So we now need help in choosing the one! We have a combo of old fashioned and modern names but feel most of our choices are non conventional.

So far we like
Liberty
India
Madison (or maddison)
Sienna
Autumn
Adelaide

My question is which one is your favourite?
Please be kind. Also are any too out there? Hmm

I like Liberty and Adelaide. I’m not keen on the others.

Barbarafromblackpool · 25/08/2019 17:56

They're not unconventional really.

I agree that they are quite 1990s/00s American High school ish. Not necessarily a bad thing, I think India is the best but has been spoilt by Katie Hopkins.

SierraNevada · 25/08/2019 17:55

Liberty followed by India. Not keen on the others. None of them are out there though,

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 25/08/2019 17:54

I don’t think anyone has been rude to you. Saying you don’t like a name isn’t being rude.
It’s not like anyone has said. Eww your names are fuckin horrible and chavvy. That’s be rude

Awwlookatmybabyspider · 25/08/2019 17:52

I find some people on MN just rude.

But you did ask for our opinions. Confused

WildCherryBlossom · 25/08/2019 17:34

Apologies for the dislike of Madison - it just doesn't seem to be in the same feminine / vintage vein as the others.

WildCherryBlossom · 25/08/2019 17:32

The only one I dislike is Madison.

I think Liberty is my favourite. I would probably choose Liberty as the first name and Sienna or India as a middle name.

I wouldn't combine any of the place-names as first & middle names (Adelaide, India, Sienna). Her name could sound like the answers to a Geography test.

Layleah · 25/08/2019 17:25

Thanks for the feedback :)

. Still perplexed when ppl comment on forums saying they hate them all. Thats not what I was asking.
I find some ppl on MN just rude.

I love Liberty and really like Sienna and Autumn. Xxx

IckleBear · 25/08/2019 15:47

I'd say Autumn if I had to choose, best of the bad lot - sorry

CakeRattleandRoll · 25/08/2019 15:30

Adelaide or Autumn

Otterseatpuffinsdontthey · 25/08/2019 15:17

My favourite from your list is Autumn - but agree with PP only if your baby girl is born in that season Smile

pumkinspicetime · 25/08/2019 15:16

I don't mind Autumn.
Maddison I really dislike.
The rest I am not so keen on.

RickOShay · 25/08/2019 15:13

Autumn. Lovely name.
Also like India. Not so keen on the others.

AverageMummy · 25/08/2019 15:11

Adeline is another you might like which I think is beautiful

AverageMummy · 25/08/2019 15:11

Liberty - not a fan
India - dislike
Madison (or maddison) - truly terrible up there with Jayden etc
Sienna - nice
Autumn - nice
Adelaide - nice

bridgetreilly · 25/08/2019 13:51

I like Adelaide and Sienna.

Robs20 · 25/08/2019 13:39

Love adelaide. Don't like Liberty at all, sorry!

AgeBeforeBeauty · 25/08/2019 13:33

But with Adelaide, it's hard to spell and people might think that's where she was conceived ... which may well be true Grin

BunchMunch · 25/08/2019 13:29

Adelaide.
A beautiful, timeless name.

All the others are a bit meh - sorry!

allabouteve1 · 25/08/2019 13:29

Liberty of Adelaide

AgeBeforeBeauty · 25/08/2019 13:27

Some people will have trouble spelling Autumn. And as above, will the baby be born in the autumn?

Runningsmooth · 25/08/2019 13:26

Autumn.
I don't like Madison at all.

kenandbarbie · 25/08/2019 13:24

To me they're all a bit late 1990s early 2000s. Autumn is the nicest through.

IVEgottheDECAF · 25/08/2019 13:19

Liberty or Autumn but only if born in Autumn!
